The Sport amateur Association Kite Village Sardinia is located in Punta Trettu (Punta Stretta) on the south west coast of Sardinia in the San Giovanni Sergiu District, right opposite to the wonderful little island of Sant’Antioco.Within easy reach of the beach, the ASD Kite Village Sardinia is the perfect place where all the kitesurf Sardinia lovers and professionals, as members of the Village itself, can relax, sip a fresh and tasty drink, spend pleasant nights with good music as well as good food
As a kitesurfing school, from April to November professional and highly qualified kitesurf instructors are happy to help you to find the level that suits you and to guide you every step of the way. So whether you are a beginner or a professional, you will be offered a wide range of kite courses to meet your needs.
Punta Trettu is one of the premiere kite spots in Sardinia, in Italy and in Europe: this area is very appreciated by kitesurfers because of its natural conditions such as the flat and shallow water, the ground swell as well as the constant wind that blows along the bay throughout most of the year. Yet the spot benefits from a wide space so to host numerous kites perfectly safely. Punta Trettu is the perfect testing ground for those who wish to take up the kitesurfing courses and to try out all the kitesurfing freestyle manouvres and the techniques. Along with its advantageous position which the bay benefits from, Punta Trettu works with all types of winds such as the Northwesterly, Westerly, Scirocco, Easterlry and the South – westerly winds. What is more, thanks to the Thermal, Northwesterly and the Scirocco winds, you are always guaranteed 5/10 knots stronger wind then the usual expectations.
