Light Wind Delight – Old shool Kiteboarding Tricks Cape Town – KiteRoute

Cape Town is known for producing some great windy days, but sometimes the wind doesn’t always come through as predicted and you have to make the most of what does.
So Reto, Grant and myself met up at our local spot in Cape Town and got on in what was really light conditions. Grant was on his faithful 17M Ozone and Reto as always on his 9M Hadlow Kite with lines that are longer than the Great Wall of China.
The tide had just come in as we arrived at the spot and luckily the wind was blowing about 13-14knots at the time, Here is what went down.
